The PMW Foundation partners with Beautiful Woman Inside and Out in honoring military women and military families.

What is a Veteran?

"Veteran" means a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable.
A minimum service requirement exists. Service members must have served a minimum of 24 months of active duty to be considered a veteran.

If the service member becomes disabled because of their time in the service, there is no minimum length of service to qualify for VA benefits.

A veteran may be classified as a ''disabled veteran,'' ''recently separated veteran,'' ''active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran,'' or ''Armed Forces service medal veteran. '' active duty* in the U.S. Military.

  • Key to mental health navigation includes strategies to combat stigma, mentorship, and group collaborations and resources.

  • Health and wellness plan implementation and intervention with a focus on prevention, early detection, and treatment for the individual Veteran and their families.

Into civilian life that spans immediate separation from service forward into retirement and aged years.

Families of Disabled or Deceased of Veterans

Support for families of disabled or deceased Veterans and the navigation of services with a focus on proper connections to existing and future programs. Other supportive and educational outreach in partnership with other institutions and organizations.
